Extruder Line is designed to produce straight straw and composed of main extruder,
co-extruder, cooling bath, haul-off/cutter and discharge conveyor & collecting box.
Main Extruder (MODEL NO. SJE-1000)
Heating up machine (main extruder cylinder) within period time until reaching to proper temperature, putting plastic
granule into Hopper, and starting machine.
The plastic granule will be melting down and coming out through cylinder regularly supporting by Ø55mm screw.
Straw tube is forming through circular die and sizing die. This process is primary stage to produce all kind of straws.
Only one solid base color is available by mixing plastic granule and selected coloring masterbatch.
Co-Extruder (MODEL NO. SJEC-1000)
Co-extruder is for putting stripes on straw with different color line.
If one color stripe on base color is required, 1st one co-extruder will do, and two different color stripes
are required, 1st & 2nd two co-extruder will do work at the same time.
Cooling Bath (MODEL NO. SJEC-3000)
Cooling bath is filled with water and overflow straw tube, and the water cools down the straw tube extruded from the
Circular Die and maintain the round of tube calibration by Sizing Die.
No Vacuum Sizing is equipped for easy operational purpose. The water temperature/level in cooling bath can be controlled
by adjusting volume of water and circulating or drain out. The 4 (four) Sizing Die on front part of cooling bath help
forming well-rounded shaped of tube without vacuum and take off excessive water on the straw tube by Air
Knife before entering to Haul-Off.
Haul-Off / Cutter (MODEL NO. SJEH-1000)
This machine is most important part of extruder line, pull out the straw tube which is extended from Die to Cooling Bath,
and cut each edge of straw at the ratio 90/90°(both edge straight cut),
90/45°(straight cut / diagonal cut), 45/45°(both edge diagonal cut) and control the length from min.
50mm to max.500 mm or min. 150 mm to max. 300 mm Also by twisting of Haul-Off belt, spiral stripes of straw can be made.
Discharge Conveyor & Collecting box
Discharge conveyor conveys finished straight straw automatically to collecting box.
To prevent static that occurs while cutting & ejecting, anti-static sterilizer is equipped.
